The glitzy holidays are rapidly approaching, y’all. Christmas will be here before you know it, and the New Year is soon to follow. Can you believe that it’s already December? I can’t! November passed by in a flash, but I am excited for Christmas to finally come. I am planning to share a ton of fun presents with my family this year, and it’s always a blessing when I can give my family great gifts.
Besides gifts, one of my favorite parts of the holiday season is the fashion. There are so many sequin-laden outfits to wear this time of year. It’s the only time besides Valentine’s where it is perfectly acceptable to wear all the fun sparkles. You can seriously be head to toe sparkles, and no one is going to say anything. It’s awesome. Let’s delve into some holiday fashion inspiration

Today’s blog is going to be a little bit different from the blogs I usually have on The Happy Arkansan. Today, we are going to get real about the town I live in.
I live in a small city in Arkansas called Forrest City, AR.
Due to Forrest City’s proximity to the interstate, it used to be a huge manufacturing hub with a bustling downtown, and so much more.
In the 1990s, this started to decline over time as more companies moved away from our city in search of lower prices, or due to other issues.

Freelancing has been one of the great joys of my 20s. When I first started this period of my life, though, I was enthralled with academia, grades, and higher education in general. I got so much out of my time as a student, but now that I am a freelancer, I couldn’t imagine any other career path. Today on The Happy Arkansan, I wanted to talk more about the transition from academia to freelancing and finding financial freedom online.
