Summer Trends: Meet Me Under The Palm Trees

Hi Everyone!

I am currently on vacation, but I wanted to pop in with a surprise post for y’all all about summer trends. I want to keep doing this for y’all with different trends and seasons, so if you like what you see, let me know so I can keep producing it for you.

Don’t forget to head to Instagram after you check out this post because I am likely sharing cute vacay pictures by now!

This summer, I have been seeing the infamous palm print EVERYWHERE. I mean, I feel like it’s timeless summer staple at this point because it’s the same way year after year.

I think the palm print is such a fresh and cool way to brighten up your summer wardrobe and house. I put together a few palm print things so you can get inspired to play around with this print this fall.

I went to SheIn to get the dress that made up my palm print look.

Fashion Inspiration

I love SheIn because they are putting palm prints on EVERYTHING. Whether you are looking for a jumpsuit, pants, kimonos, dresses, SheIn has you covered. Each piece is reasonably priced.

The Palm Leaf Print Frilled Sleeve dress is similar to the one I have on. Mine was called Tropical Print Ruffle Cuff Dress though.

I NEED the palm leaf kimono to be my next SheIn purchases because can you imagine all the flow-y summer looks I can accomplish with it?

How To Use Palms In your Own Way

If you want to jump on the palm print train, I feel like the main focus of your look should be the palm print. Pair your palm look with something simple.

  • If you are wearing a dress, pair it with some simple jewelry like pearls and some bangles.
  • If you are wearing a palm body suit or shirt, pair it with some jean shorts. Add jeans with some cute rips for some extra flair
  • If the palms are on the bottom, wear a cute green or white shirt/blouse to draw attention to your palm print pants. Extra points for off the shoulder tops!

Home Decor Inspiration

For the home decor side of things, I looked at a number of home decor pieces from Minted. I love Minted and the quality of work they have to offer. You support independent artists, but these artists are on a whole other level when it comes to beautiful art.

I love Minted because the pieces are quality. These may be more expensive than some art you get, but if you take care of them correctly, you can love these pieces for a long time to come. When you are ready to redecorate, just store your prints in a place that they can safely lay flat for when it's palm season again.

You may want to go for a more traditional white and green palm print situation, lean into pops of pink, or just go on a full scale color spree. The possibilities are endless with this trend!

Conclusion

That's all folks. I just wanted to share some cute products with you today.

I am planning a ton of content for next week, so be on the lookout for travel week because I am going to be hitting you with Atlanta content left and right, yo!

Lots of love and palm prints!
