With a new season comes lots of changes. Spring is my all-time favorite season. Honestly, I feel like I am thriving when the weather starts to get warmer, and there is a slightly dusty smell in the air from all the rain. One thing I am trying to do this spring is drinking more water, but that’s not all. I wanted to chat with you today about a few of the lifestyle changes I make in the spring. You can make these changes too, so buckle up, and let’s thrive together this spring.

1. Get Outside
As the weather warms up more, one of the most natural lifestyle changes you can make is simply getting outside more. There is so much beauty to see during the spring and summer months. I love going outside to see all the beautiful apple and cherry blossoms that come out this time of year. Put on some sunscreen and get outside to enjoy some Vitamin D.
One of my favorite activities is to go outside with a water bottle full of my ZeroWater and sit out for a while. I usually just read, listen to an audiobook, or read an actual book. Spring is the perfect time of year for this because it can get a little too hot in the south for extended sitting.

2. Drink More Water
Staying hydrated is essential as the weather warms up. You never want to be stuck feeling thirsty, and I am so excited to introduce you to my new best friend when it comes to staying hydrated this spring: my ZeroWater pitcher. The problem with a lot of water today is how much stuff is in it that we don’t see. ZeroWater filters get rid of a ton of that and leave you with water that tastes as good if not better than traditional bottled water. When I got my ZeroWater pitcher, I stopped drinking all the bottled water because my pitcher created water that was just as great if not better.
How To Use The ZeroWater Pitcher
Using the ZeroWater pitcher is as easy as pie. You attach a filter to the inside of your pitcher following the clear instructions that come with your new pitcher. After you get your filter in place, it only takes a few moments to start filtering your first batch of ZeroWater by pouring tap water into the filter chamber. This process does take a bit of time; your water is being filtered through five-steps after all.
The Road To 000: My Experience Using ZeroWater
Traditionally at my home, the TDS reads can be anywhere from 200-400 PPM (parts per million.) I know that’s a considerable range, but the water at my home isn’t very consistent. Chances are your water at home is similar, and you can’t control what comes out of the tap daily. I know that my ZeroWater pitcher will always deliver 000 water, and if it’s not, I know it’s time to change my filter. Many of the ZeroWater pitchers come with a simple and easy to use TDS reader so you can always be in control of the dissolved solids in your water.
3. Eat More Fruits And Vegetables
Another simple, yet effective lifestyle change you can make in the spring is eating more fruits and vegetables. You may even want to start growing some of your own fruits and veggies if you have space. Infuse some fruits into your water for some added taste, drink smoothies, or just had some as a snack throughout the day. We are often not eating enough of this food group, so adding more to your diet in the spring is a great way to get into eating more of the food you need.
4. Change Your Beauty Routine
I am a beauty fanatic, and spring is the perfect time to change up your routine.
One of the best things you can do for your skin in the springtime? Drink all the water. Water is fantastic for our bodies, especially good water which is why I love my ZeroWater pitcher so much. I honestly feel like my skin has been feeling better since I cut out soda and started drinking more water and juice.
In general, though, you should be taking steps to create a beauty routine that your skin loves this spring.
I love makeup as much as the next person. It’s important to give your skin some time to rest by going makeup free sometimes. Most of all, wash your makeup off correctly. You can fix a ton of skin issues just by giving your skin a good cleanse after you wear makeup instead of trying to rush to take makeup off.
5. Do Some Spring Cleaning
Last, but not least, do some spring cleaning. Spring cleaning is the quintessential thing we all do to prepare for the season. I think there is a good reason for that. Spring is the perfect time to get rid of stuff we’ve been hoarding. We want to make room to receive new, better things in our lives. Get rid of the stuff you’ve been holding on to this season!
